Winter Camp 2021

As winter camp 2021 comes to a close today, I find it fitting that the verse of the day is; Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.
(‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭10‬‬:‭31‬ NKJV).
I believe that is what everyone who volunteered their time and talents did this week. The glory of God shined through the cheerful service to these young men and young ladies.
You can see this in the good time had by all who where here.
Thank you to our volunteers and to our campers for a great week.
And until we see each other again, may the great scoutmaster of all scouts be with us until we meet again.

We want to thank the Clark County Sheriff Department for their quick and diligent work in finding the people who would damage and steal from our camp!!!

Here's a tip to anyone wearing an ankle monitoring bracelet for a past offense: Don't commit another crime while still wearing that bracelet. An ankle bracelet helped lead to a Baldwin Count

Today Dorothy built 10 Fish Habitats for the lake at Camp Maubila with the help of Cindy, Michael and myself.
Dorothy did this as part of her service hours requirement for Life Rank. Dorothy is in Troop 82G in Daphne.
This will give the fish a place to live so they can continue to flourish.
Thus giving many positive Scouting moments at the lake in the future!!!
In a couple of weeks when the concrete has a chance to cure out completely they will be placed in the lake.

Repairs to the chapel have begun!!!!!!!
