March, April, and May are great months at the beach. Daylight Savings Time kicks in next month, and sunsets are after 7:00p.m. beginning March 10th. And the sun sets due west of Rockaway Beach at that time making the sunsets most spectacular, as a result!

In March, the Gray Whales are on their trek North to Alaska after wintering in Mexico. Mid March to mid April is prime for whale watching.

Take a look at the Availability Calendar, and reserve time now for your Spring getaway to Rockaway.
