Today, we light candles in our Dolly Suite with heavy hearts as we mourn the loss of our beloved Dolly Parton.

Dolly’s light reached far beyond her music. She showed us what it means to lead with kindness, compassion, and unconditional love. She spoke out against anti-transgender legislation, reminding us that everyone deserves respect and the chance to be exactly who they are. She supported marriage equality long before it became law, famously quipping that gay people should be able to marry so they could “suffer like the rest of us do.”

For generations, Dolly has been a beloved icon to the q***r community—not only because of her extraordinary talent and unapologetically fabulous style, but because she made people feel seen, accepted, and loved. Her message was simple and powerful: love people for who they are.

At the R3 Hotel, we are honored to celebrate her legacy and the profound impact she had on our community and the entire world.
