CT Shoreline Go Fund Me Campaign Updates & Progress Made

My son has a lot on his plate with school and work so I told him that I'd rather he didn't worry about the GoFundMe he set up for the truck.

I admit I'm happy that he did it behind my back cuz I never would have let him do it and he's got so much more important things going on but because of it. I'm almost ready to get everything done on the truck. Unless I'm told different Tues.

I should have done this sooner but I told him that I would take the campaign over. This way, he can concentrate on what's most important that he needs to take care of in life right now and I could keep people posted on the trucks progress and other little things I was thinking.

I actually just got the table saw working again, I also have a drill press, router, wood burner, Dremel, band saw , scroll saw amongst other things.

So, I was thinking about using any free time that I have at night while I'm not trying to get up money for this truck to be fixed

Maybe making some little thank you gifts for those who donated already, if you have any requests, please don't hesitate to ask

I haven't been woodworking long but I don't think I'm half bad.

I'll post some stuff as I make them so if you see something you like just let me know.

As much as I appreciate him for thinking of me by starting that campaign, I know that there's more important things he should be worried about.

He's accomplished so much recently. He's growing up so quickly. I have never been more proud of him.

things I know the truck needs is a passenger door a battery a tune up either a torque converter or a transmission, all of its fluids changed. three of the four tire s keep going flat causing me to need new rims and tires.

Rims sitting on concrete doesn't work out well, I'm hoping it's less that it needs but I'm also hoping it's no more and I can get back to work shortly.

I'm not an expert at Facebook but I think I might have started a wrong page lol maybe a fan page would be better and does anybody else have a suggestion?

Thank you everyone who was liked my page I know it's slow coming along but I've been looking for thank you gifts to make in my woodworking area for those who have donated.

I don't want my son to worry about the page he created for me over his school work and what he needs to do so I decided to make this page for updates.

Just the fact that he thought to create one for me is more than I could never ask anybody to do let alone my son.

I want to thank everybody who still needed

The truck I have is a powerful truck and runs really well but needs a transmission. First I was thinking about getting a van.

But then the truck will either sit there until I couldn't pay for it or I'll sell it for parts.
In which I would get way less and it's worth.

I've called a few places to get estimates I'm getting a replacement transmission but on a four-wheel drive and no confirmation that it's actually the transmission and they're not screwing me.
I got me thinking, if I got the trans rebuilt might be a viable option.
This way I have a warranty on it and it's more cost effective.

I guess I'll see I've been seeing a lot of vans that look like they're in pretty good shape with one owner that I may be able to pay cash for and could support the work I do.
Just updating those who have donated it's the least I can do I have been working on somewhat working projects I was thinking about sending people for thank you gifts.
So if you have any suggestions please let me know.
