After needing to replace the windows due to some leaks, we decided it was also time to give the house a refresh with some fresh paint. Also was time to update the living room some, so we removed the old built-in cabinet and wall mounted a new 75" TV and soundbar.

We're really happy with how different things look and hope people will enjoy it!

We are very excited to share a major update to the house that we hope will uplevel your experience. The existing carpet had lived its best life and was in need of replacement. Now in place is new LVT flooring that will no longer support hiding sand stickers for your feet to discover in the middle of the night. We have one more major upgrade to take place before the summer, so be on the lookout for our post announcing that one.

If you have been following us for much time at all, you probably know that winter is when we have a chance to make any major repairs or updates to the house. This year, we had all the carpet removed with the exception of the stairs. New LVT flooring was put in its place. We are excited about this update and can't wait to see it for ourselves. We hope this helps to provide a more updated look and cleaner environment for everyone! There are still more changes to come but we are currently waiting on the supply chain to call our number in line.

This year the wind and rain from the hurricane season caused the upper deck area to need attending to. Rather than putting on another coat of paint, we opted to replace the decking with composite material that will hold up longer. Bonus, it doesn’t burn your feet as bad!

More exciting than not burning your feet in the hot summer sun anymore is the new bar seating installed providing you with expansive third story views over the gulf including sunsets and sunrises.

Materials are still a challenge to get in the area so for now you have seating for 4. We hope to expand that to 6-8 soon!
