Wonderful news from The Salty Pelican Tuex! 💙
We are so happy (and relieved!) to share that The Salty Pelican Tuex weathered the hurricane without any damage! 🙌. Our home has been thoroughly inspected, inside and out, and we are thrilled to report that everything is in great shape and ready to welcome our guests!
A HUGE thank you to the amazing crew at Fort Morgan Services-FMS for battening down the hatches before the storm! From securing outdoor furniture to making sure everything was locked down, tied down, and ready for whatever Mother Nature had in store, they took such wonderful care of our home. We are so fortunate to have such incredible people looking after us, especially when we can’t be there ourselves! Y’all are the BEST! 💙
We are also incredibly thankful for everyone who checked in, sent messages, and kept us and our beautiful Gulf Coast community in their thoughts and prayers. Your kindness means so much to us!
Our hearts remain with everyone who was impacted by the storm, and we continue to pray for those facing cleanup and recovery. ❤️‍🩹

Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone in the path of this storm. 💙🙏. From our little piece of paradise on the Alabama Gulf Coast, we know just how quickly Mother Nature can remind us who’s in charge. We’re praying for the safety of our coastal communities, our neighbors, first responders, and everyone who may be impacted in the coming days. Homes and belongings can be repaired or replaced, but lives cannot. Please stay safe, look out for one another, and take care of those around you. There is no greater compliment than knowing a family trusted us with their vacation—and left with wonderful memories. When this guest arrived, they discovered the washing machine wasn’t working. We knew how important that was for a large family, so we had a brand-new washer and dryer ordered and shipped the very next day!
