Wow! Time is just flying by! It's hard to believe it is almost August, and our busy summer season is about to slow down greatly due to schools starting! I want to thank all our wonderful rental guests so far in 2022. From our reviews, it appears that you enjoyed your time at our Dunes Beach Retreat!

Late summer and fall will be approaching soon and time for those of you who like to visit in the less crowded and cooler months to reserve your stay! We enjoy hosting our repeat guests and new guests as well! We would love to hear from you!

I also want to thank all those guests who have stayed at The Dunes complex in other units and have posted their pictures and comments in the community section of my website page for my own home. It has been a while since I posted about our Dunes Beach Retreat home! Hurricane Sally did considerable damage to our area, and our condo was not spared. We have spent several months repairing the damage done but are now getting things back together. We now have a freshly painted, newly carpeted, updated beach retreat to enjoy ourselves and offer to our guests. It has been a stressful journey, but we have entered the light at the end of the tunnel! Let me refresh your memory about our vacation retreat:
Dunes Beach Retreat is our second home - a 3BR/2-1/2 BA condo located on the 5th Floor West end of The Dunes complex in the Fort Morgan area of Gulf Shores with sweeping views of the ocean. It is truly a retreat from the hussle and bussle of our daily lives! We love sharing this condo with guests who are looking for an upscale, well decorated, fully-stocked vacation getaway and are committed to caring for it as if guests in someone’s home. Our grandchildren LOVE our home and the peaceful, less crowded beach and surroundings! We manage our own rental reservations, payments and communications with guests. Why we chose our Dunes Beach Retreat?

We love the peaceful surroundings and less crowded beach as well as the sweeping ocean and beach views from our 2 balconies. It is a treat to watch ships sail from the Port of Mobile.
Our young grandchildren especially love the freedom of movement on this less crowded beach and surrounding area and cherish the short walks along the beach to the uninhabited Fort Morgan property to collect those precious seashells and go "crabbing".
This is not just a rental property. It is special to us and our second home. We have furnished, equipped and decorated it for that purpose and choose to share it with guests who are looking for a nicely furnished rental and committed to caring for it during their stay.

The Dunes Condominium Complex is located in the area known as Fort Morgan which is less crowded than the main area of Gulf Shores and Orange Beach but only 20 miles from I-59. There are several restaurants and golf courses in this area, and then you are minutes from the Gulf Shores and Orange Beach restaurants and attractions.
