Alabama Public Television is airing my film RURAL REVIVAL - THE CIVILIAN CONSERVATION CORPS IN ALABAMA tonight, December 21 at 9:00pm CST.


This film explores the Depression Era Civilian Conservation Corps ideals, what it accomplished, and the lasting effect on the people and the land of Alabama. The journey of one young boy from rural Talladega County and his time in the CCC from 1939-1941 is a parallel story in the film.
