The Front Desk Agent is responsible for providing genuine and authentic customer service according to The Inn at Tomichi Village standards. This is completed through the check-in and check-out process, guest phone calls, managing folios, assisting in reservations, local recommendations, guest requests and all other guest interactions. A Front Desk Agent shows empathy and patience when dealing with guest issues. Job

Responsibilities including but not limited to:
· Ensure accurate check-in and check out processes.
· Knows room locations, types of rooms available, and room rates.
· Answer phone calls politely and efficiently to meet and exceed all guest needs and requests.
· Solve basic folio and billing discrepancies to hotel standards and guest satisfaction.
· Obtain guests requests and follow up to ensure all requests are responded to in a timely manner.
· Assist in booking, modifying, and cancelling guest reservations.
· Provide Concierge service to guests and make local recommendations.
· Possess strong organizational and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to sustain composure at all times and remain calm during difficult situations.
· Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
· Ability to communicate in English effectively in both written and verbal channels.
· Ability to multitask in high volume situations while maintaining strong customer service.

SLATE, EAST & GUNNISON RIVERS CLOSURE UPDATE: The Gunnison County Sheriff, in collaboration with local partners, have agreed that the Slate, East and Gunnison Rivers can be opened, effective today, July 8th. The National Parks Service has also lifted their restrictions from McCabes to Blue Mesa Reservoir.

Before you get on the water, be aware of water conditions and bridge clearances, and boat heights, to ensure safe passage!

REMINDER: Rivers and streams in Gunnison County continue to run high and fast. The rivers are cold with low clearances underneath bridges, and they may carry large amounts of debris, potentially resulting in dangerous debris jams. Do not allow unsupervised children or pets close to rivers and streams. All recreational users (boaters, fishermen, etc.) are urged to use extreme caution on and around all open rivers and streams in the valley, and all persons on open rivers should be wearing appropriate personal floatation devices. Beginner boaters are strongly advised to employ a professional rafting company when floating any local rivers that remain open to the public.
