Grab your life jacket and join the Naturalist for a morning kayaking adventure on Short Creek on Saturday, June 6, 2026! On this 2-hour guided paddle, we will be looking for wildlife in the water, woods, and sky while discussing the history of Lake Guntersville State Park!

Grab your fishing pole!

On Saturday, May 23, 2026, anglers of all ages and experience levels are invited to join the Park Naturalist for a Saturday Cast & Catch at the Campground Fishing Pier!

Don’t have your own equipment? No worries! We will have a limited number of fishing poles available for use.

Those 16 or older who plan to fish with us will need to bring proof of their current Alabama freshwater fishing license.
