So....do you know this moment?

I've had a few calls this week from a few guests who wondered if I was sending a letter. The easy answer is yes, the obvious one is its late, and the long one can be summed up below. I had a oops and am very sorry about that. Letters should start showing up next week. I had to stuff the envelopes still and was going to take them with me and send from Indiana buuuut that didn't happen. I have been putting them in the mail as I go. They will ALL be in the mail drop by Monday morning when the post office opens.

P.S. I did not drive with a dog in my lap. Promise.

ATTENTION:

For all people born on or after July 1, 2004:

Starting on July 1, 2025, a new law will require both adults and youth who operate motorboats—including personal watercraft—to have a valid watercraft operator's permit. This law is designed to make boating safer by ensuring everyone operating a motorized watercraft knows the rules and is properly trained.

Who is considered an exempt operator?

"Exempt operator" means a motorboat operator, including a personal watercraft operator, who is 12 years of age or older and who:

Possesses a valid license to operate a motorboat issued for maritime personnel by the United States Coast Guard under Code of Federal Regulations, title 46, part 10, or a marine certificate issued by the Canadian government.

Is not a resident of the state, is temporarily using the waters of the state for a period not to exceed 60 days, and meets any applicable requirements of the state or country of residency; or possesses a Canadian pleasure craft operator's card; is operating a motorboat under a dealer's license according to section 86B.405; or is operating a motorboat during an emergency.

Merry Christmas! Logan spent the month with my parents in Indiana, so we were down to three kids and Lilah's dog, Chewy this morning. We hope everyone's holidays are wonderful!

Time really sneaks up on you. One day you're changing diapers, then you blink and your dropping your kid off at college. Not sure what I'm gonna do without her, but we're so dang proud of her. She's got big dreams and moving into her apartment today was step one. Maybe I'm just gonna cry a little... or, you know 😭
