We rarely share the story of our home because we want VVC to be about the space and not about us but in celebration of Pride and Juneteenth we are sharing a bit as members of the community. Inclusivity and safety are paramount when traveling as a member of the LGBTQIA+ community. Inclusivity is the hallmark of our hosting experience. We have designed the home we would want to stay in, a home that should feel like it is yours when you stay there— whoever you are and wherever you are from. From a fully stocked kitchen and library, custom matchbooks, complimentary wine , to our marked hiking trails, you never even have to leave. But if you do, our little hamlet, Halcottsville, will welcome you with open arms. As a q***r couple from Brooklyn, this is what we look for when we travel and the experience we strive to bring to all our guests. Before buying VVC we looked at dozens of homes in the Catskills area, but it wasn’t until we found Halcotsville, saw rainbow flags and met some welcoming local friends that we knew we were home. All are welcome at VVC and we look forward to hosting you soon!
