To be fair, there are a number of great places to stay on the North Shore of Oahu, and we certainly have no hoʻino toward any accommodation on this side of the island, even if it is considered a competitor. However, our allegiance has always been—and will always remain—with our cherished guests, whether they are kamaʻāina seeking a staycation or visitors from the mainland or far-flung international destinations.

So, when we recently discovered that hundreds of people from around the world search online for the answer to the question, “Ke Iki Beach Bungalows vs. Turtle Bay Resort” (the latter now operating as the Ritz-Carlton Turtle Bay), we felt compelled to weigh in rather than leave Reddit forums as the sole source of information for prospective guests considering either property.
