I’m a little late posting these but had a wonderful time.

Had our week last week. Everything seems in working order. Spent our time down Crystal Canyon. The water was rising at about a foot a day. Had to readjust the ropes 2x a day. Weather was nice a little cool for this time of year. Caught a bunch of st*****rs off the back of the houseboat. Did some swimming water was around 70 degrees. Fixed a few little things on the houseboat and headed home.

Checklist will be on boat again this year. Please fill out for your partners.
A couple of items worthy to note--bring your own replacement bottles of propane. They are no longer filling them. You can get replacements at bullfrog but it will cost you $80 each! Whether you choose to bring your own replacements or spend big bucks at bullfrog, send your next partners out with full tanks.
Also they are advising swim shoes for all-mussels may be on beach -don't get cuts wear swim shoes!

Vern,Jane, Ron and friend, Steve, who was kind enough to help us out over Mothers Day week end got a lot done. The mussels were removed, engines power washed, pressure tested-- engines are all ok!- modification to where the batteries sit needed to be done so the engines can now come up out of the water totally. New canopy on top was installed along with new toilet in main bathroom. The houseboat is scheduled for a 1pm delivery over to our slip this Wednesday.

Crystal 88 has had it's pontoons sandblasted and was pressure tested. They found one small hole - so that is waiting to be welded and then painted. Again no time frame for completion. Off shore still has no info on the status of their trucks/trailers. We will be going down next week end to install toilet and pressure test those engines and tackle mussel removal.

Update: Off shore marina has 3 launch and retrieval trailers. All 3 currently are non operational. Someone is suppose to be coming to "look" at them this week or next. They have no anticipated date of being operational. They also have had to dismiss a dozen or so of their employees.
With all of this- they have not started the work on our boat . The plan is to go down Friday May 12th and through the week end and work on the toilet-pressure wash the engines to get rid of mussels-run a pressure test on those engines and if good then we have that out of the way. Any help that week end would be appreciated! Mark is checking to see if we can hold off until next year for the pontoon pressure test. We will update as more info comes our way.

This is so unfortunate. We have mussels!! Vern was down over the week end to do some work--(install new toilet- yet another story) Pictures attached are of the Crystal 88 with mussels every where!! The 2 pictures with the mussels all in a line outlined in blue- are the water intake ports for the outboards. It will be imperative going forward that when the boat is not actually traveling -in motion- that the engines are brought up out of the water and remain out of water until traveling again. This would mean that while at the dock or beached somewhere those engines are to be out of water. He ran into 2 gentlemen that were in the process of installing new engines on their houseboat as mussels had ruined their previous engines.
