Snow globe mode activated up here at the lake ❄️🌲

We woke up to fresh powder, quiet pines, and that magical hush only a big storm brings. Roads are getting cleared (thank you to our snow heroes 🚜) and the cabins look straight out of a winter postcard.

There’s nothing like watching the snow fall with a warm drink in hand ☕

It’s “B & B Season” …
Now that Labor Day is behind us, autumn is arriving and with it comes “B & B Season”, as in Bait & Bullets Season. Fishing and hunting are common autumn activities in the mountains and rifle season for deer is just around the corner. Hunters already know this but for other outdoor enthusiasts here are the open season dates:
Zone C4 … September 20 thru October 5
Zone X-6a … October 4 thru October 19.
If you are going to be wandering about the off-highway areas during the above dates be sure to wear bright clothing and keep pets close.
