What’s your specialty? Gumbo, seafood étouffée, smothered gravy, red beans, a hearty stew, or a family recipe passed down for generations? 👀 Whatever your signature dish may be, we want to see it served OVER RICE!

Hidden Oaks Campground is hosting our ANYTHING OVER RICE COOK-OFF, and we’re looking for the best cooks around to bring their skills, creativity, and incredible flavors! 🥘🔥

🏆 COOK-OFF TEAMS — CLAIM YOUR SPOT!

* Only 30 teams will be accepted!
* $30 registration fee per team, including two team members
* Registration and payment deadline: November 13th
* Your team is not officially registered until your entry fee has been received.

🍲 THE CHALLENGE: IF IT GOES OVER RICE, IT’S IN!

Bring your best gumbo, étouffée, gravy, stew, beans, seafood creation, Cajun classic, or an original dish that will have everyone asking for your recipe! Show off your cooking skills and compete for bragging rights and cash prizes!

🥄 COOK-OFF SCHEDULE & REQUIREMENTS

🔥 All competition dishes must be cooked on-site
🍚 Rice will be provided
🥘 Minimum of 3 gallons of your selected dish required
⏰ Setup begins at 8:00 AM sharp
🍽️ All dishes must be ready to serve by 12:00 PM
🗳️ People’s Choice voting ends at 2:00 PM
🏆 Winners announced at 2:30 PM

What a SPOOKTACULAR weekend at Hidden Oaks Campground! 🧡🖤 We had a frightfully good time filled with Halloween fun, creepy decorations, golf cart fun, bingo, pumpkin decorating, costume contests, trick-or-treating, and memories that will last long after the spooky season! 🎃🕸️

💀🌲 THE HAUNTED TRAIL WAS A HAUNTING HIGHLIGHT! 🌲💀 A huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped bring the scares to life, decorated the trail, and came out brave enough to experience the frights! 👻 From spooky scenes to creepy surprises, our campers helped make Horror Down the Trails a weekend to remember!

🏆🎃 Congratulations to all of our contest winners, and thank you to everyone who joined in on the fun and brought their Halloween spirit!

Weekend Reminders:

🔦No Lasers / Lights down the Haunted Trail between the hours of 7pm-9pm.

🚧Haunted Trail will be closed/blocked off first thing Saturday morning from anyone not volunteering down the trail to allow everyone time to set up and minimize decoration tampering.

🛞NO WHEELS (with the exception of wagons, strollers, or in the like) are allowed during trick-or-treating hours - PLAN ACCORDINGLY. Examples: golf carts, SxS, or vehicles.
