✨🌙 Well… we think The Zodiacs are officially a hit. 🌙✨

Our glamping domes welcomed their very first guests, and apparently one weekend wasn’t enough… because they’ve already booked their next stay! 🥹⛺️

We’re sharing some of the photos they sent us from their first visit, and hearing how excited they are to come back in just a few weekends absolutely made our day.

Their plan for round two?

🌌 Crawl into bed.
✨ Look up through the dome.
⭐ Watch the stars overhead without ever leaving the covers.

And THAT is exactly what we hoped The Zodiacs would be. ❤️

There’s something pretty special about spending a couple of nights at Black Lake, sitting around your own fire pit in the evening, and then climbing into a warm bed where you can still look up at the night sky.

A huge thank you to our very first Zodiac guests for taking a chance on something brand new, sharing these beautiful photos with us, and most importantly already planning their return trip!

🍂 THE LAST 25 DAYS OF THE SEASON ARE HERE! 🍂

How did we get here already?! 😭

Starting Monday, we’re officially down to the final 25 days of our camping season at Back Bay Campground, and we still have some scattered 2+ night cabin openings between now and September 30!

That means you have one last chance to squeeze in a Black Lake getaway before most of our cabins close for the season. ❤️

And September might be one of the BEST times to visit:

🍁 Leaf-peeping season is coming mid-to-late September should start bringing those beautiful North Country fall colors
🎣 Get in one more fishing trip
🔥 Enjoy cool nights around the fire
🌅 Wake up to September mornings on Black Lake
🛶 Spend a little more time on the water
❤️ Or just enjoy one last getaway before summer officially feels over

We have random 2-, 3-, 4-night and longer openings scattered among several cabins, so if you’ve been thinking about coming back, or haven’t made it here yet, this is your chance.

We’ve checked the rules, and apparently calories consumed at Back Bay Campground don’t count.

We don’t make the rules. 🤷‍♂️

So if you’ve been looking for an excuse to have ice cream after dinner… or before dinner… or both… this is it.

Our vending machine is stocked with ice cream and ready to support your questionable vacation decisions. 😂

You’re camping. You’re on vacation. Eat the ice cream. 🍦

We’re planning some future upgrades at Back Bay Campground, and we want to hear from the people who might actually stay here!

Our Luxury Waterfront Retreat already has:

The Zodiacs officially have their own shared cooking space! 🌙⭐

Constellation Kitchen is just a short walk from Aries, Ta**us, Capricorn & Leo and gives our glamping guests a convenient place to prepare meals during their stay.

Inside you’ll find:

🔥 Stove & oven
🥘 Pots & pans
🍽️ Plates, glasses & cutlery
🔪 Cooking utensils
🪑 Counter seating + a table for two
🚿 And it’s right next to the shared bathhouse & pavilion!

We’re still adding some finishing touches, though — and this is where we need your help! 👇

Today, we're remembering Dolly Parton. ❤️📚

Most people knew Dolly for her music, but one of the things we admired most was her incredible commitment to putting books into the hands of children through her Imagination Library.

That mission hits especially close to home for us at Back Bay.

Here at the campground, we have our own little free library dedicated to the owner's mother, a teacher who loved books and believed in giving them to kids. It's a small part of the campground, but one that means a great deal to our family.

Two very different stories, but a shared belief that a book given to a child can mean something much bigger.

Thank you, Dolly, for the music, the memories, and for reminding millions of people of the importance of giving back. ❤️
