Saturday April 18th from 9-11a, in coordination with Sunset Lake Association and Sunset Park Campground, we will be picking up roadside trash from Emerson Ave, Kent Farm Rd, Wash Pond Rd, and surrounding neighborhoods. Parking TBD. Hope to see you there!!

It’s a beautiful Sunday here at Sunset Park Campground!

We’re happy to share that our beach has remained clear of any Cyanobacteria blooms since the advisory was issued, so swimming is currently allowed!

Please note: If you notice a yellow tint in the water, don’t worry — that’s just pollen, not algae. Still, we encourage everyone to swim with caution and stay alert for any changes.

Thank you to everyone who was able to join us at the Meet & Greet! We’re truly honored and humbled to step into the role as the new owners of Sunset Park Campground—a place loved by many for over 65 years. Our commitment is to keep this wonderful campground community just as special for many years to come. We appreciate the warm welcome, thoughtful questions, and suggestions. What an action-packed day at Sunset Park Campground!

We have the pleasure of hosting 114 students from Hampstead Middle School for an exciting, hands-on science field trip focused on water studies.

The morning was buzzing with energy, curiosity, and discovery as students rotated through three interactive observation stations, exploring the natural environment around them.

Thank you to Mrs. Griffin, Mr. Bartlett, the dedicated chaperones, town staff, and Hampstead Middle School who helped make the day safe, smooth, and successful.

A special mention to Mr. Bob Nugent for his donation to the Hampstead Middle School science department, which made it possible for the Portable AmScope Digital Microscopes used during one of today’s stations—and in future classroom learning.

We’re honored to be part of such a meaningful educational experience and are committed to helping keep this tradition alive for years to come.

Happy Sunday from Sunset Park Campground

We’re feeling incredibly grateful and blessed for the beautiful weather that kicked off opening weekend! From the smiling faces who stopped by to say hello, to the kids excitedly picking out chips and ice pops—it’s already been a joyful start.

A huge thank you to our amazing team: campground manager Pam, facilities manager Artie, and the wonderful Kendra—all their heart and dedication have shaped Sunset Park into the special place it is. Their continued support during this new chapter has meant the world to us. We’re also so grateful to all the other helping hands who pitched in to make opening possible—you know who you are, and we appreciate each and every one of you!

While we’re not always fans of the scattered downpours, we can’t deny they’ve made the grounds extra green and lush—it’s never looked better. The rain has truly made the sunny days even sweeter.

We look forward to connecting with each of you soon as we settle into what was once Mr. Nugent’s house—the tan house by the lake—and become your new neighbors. Thank you for the warm congratulations on our marriage and your kind wishes for the season ahead.
