We are entering the time of year where brown trout are beginning to spawn. Be on the look out for patches of clean, bright gravel and give these fish plenty of room to procreate and bring us future generations of wild trout! Please do not fish over these spots or near them!

While shallow riffles, tail-outs of pools and other high-oxygenated positions are most common, these can be found elsewhere.

The dry fly fishing has been good with little BWOs in the afternoons and evenings. The fall colors and hatches will only last for a few more weeks. So, if you want to get in on the action before it ends, give us a call.

Little BWOs are the main hatch and those cloudy rainy days have been the best for the dry fly action. The season is coming to an end and if you want to get in on the action, give us a call.

Ants and BWOs were on the menu yesterday. Gotta love the late season dry fly fishing.

The dry fly fishing has had its moments over the last few days. Cloudy days have offered the best fishing, while sunny days have been tougher until things pick up in the evening. BWOs have been the main hatch, alongside a few ants, Slate Drakes, and Cahills.

We still have a few cabins and a guide available for this weekend. Give us a call if you are interested in getting out!

There are still plenty of fish feeding on top. The Blue-Winged Olive (BWO) hatch has been good, and evening fishing has been solid with BWOs and spinners as the main food sources. Flying ants have also been effective on certain days.

We have a few more weeks of great fishing ahead. If you would like to book a trip before the season ends, please give us a call.
