Take a quick, breathtaking drive over to Capitol Reef to wander through Fruita’s historic orchards and gather a bucket of fresh-picked fruit. The Fruita orchards are open for visitors to explore! Visit orchards with a “U-Pick Fruit” sign on display- the fenced orchards are open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Please never climb the trees- they can be damaged easily. Please use the ladders and picking equipment provided. and you must pay for fruit that’s picked.
When you’ve had your fill of orchard sweetness, be sure to enjoy the rest of the park as well! The orchard is located near the park’s Fremont petroglyphs and the Hickman Bridge, a 133-foot natural bridge that features stunning canyon views.
Once you return to your private wooden cabin, kick off your boots, soak in the quiet surroundings, and enjoy the perfect end to a perfect day.
