Join Hannibal Parks & Recreation
as they head out to see if the bats have begun emerging from their winter hibernation in the Lime Kiln Mine. After months of surviving on stored body fat, they’re hungry and if the night is warm and full of insects, you may catch them in action!

🦇 WHAT TO EXPECT
• Over 220,000 bats call the mine home
• Sightings typically range from 30–100 bats
• Every night is a little different (part of the magic)
