And that's a wrap on Season 110!

So many thanks to all the amazing people who made this happen: our chefs, dishwashers, wait staff, cleaners, gardeners, and our "do-it-all-ers." We couldn't do it without you!

And thanks, of course, to our wonderful guests who choose to call this place "home" for a bit of their summer. We hope you all had restful stays!

Thank you, everyone, for a great season.

Now, time to put these cottages to bed and stack some wood!

We’ve just had several last-minute openings pop up for our fall 2026 season. Here’s what we’ve got:

1. Birches (1BR) September 19 - 26 AND/OR September 26 - October 3

2. Gull’s Roost (2BR) October 3-10

3. Acorn (Studio) October 4-11

4. Tamaracks (2BR) October 4-11

Yesterday morning all our guests were treated to quite the spectacle- a humpback whale right in Stand Cove!
We halted all breakfast prep and went running down to see it eating its own breakfast of pogies right off the dock. Later as we came back to the house (don't worry, we didn't burn the bacon!), our breakfast chef Rose was able to capture this photo from the Main House porch.
Such a beautiful experience to see one of these majestic giants so close to home.

The sign is up and we're one step closer to opening day of our 110th season!

This year is just a little different, in that for the first time in 35(ish?) years, Deb and Dave will not be living at camp! Thankfully they are still commuting down here each day and remain a valuable resource for our guests, and us as we continue to learn all there is to know about running this business.

Your resident hosts will be Anna, Georgia, John, Charlie and Pickles The Cat. We have been living year round at the Main House and look forward to sharing our home with you this summer.

We're excited and optimistic this season will be a great one, we can’t wait to see you all soon. Travel safe!

Our old site served us well for years, but it was time for an upgrade to something that lets us easily keep things updated with new info and photos.

Much of the information remains the same but we do have a few new pages like our FAQ section and a handy dandy Local Guide directing you to some of our favorite spots to eat and shop on the peninsula.

This site was built during many of Charlie’s nap times this winter—so there’s a good chance my mom brain missed a thing or two! 😅
