Cottage Moving Update ā Part II!
Remember when I said Iād update you all āsoonā on our cottage relocation project? Wellā¦ a few small things (life, moving entire buildings, raising a small human) got in the way š
But todayās the day! Weāre officially two months out from opening, so it felt like the right time for a progress update.
The good news: the cottages are in their final resting places, secured, and nearly fully hooked back up. And wowāwhat an undertaking this has been. While we had an amazing crew to move the buildings, everything else fell to us. And by āus,ā I mostly mean Dave (with support from Deb, Anna, John, myself, and of course, Young Charles the foreman).
There were plenty of challenging (and very cold) days, but weāre finally nearing the finish lineāand we couldnāt be happier with how everything turned out. In just two short months, we canāt wait to welcome you all back to see these cottages in their new homes.
And for those of you staying in themādonāt worry! The interiors are unchanged, and your view is just as magnificent as ever (maybe even better š).
