This Fourth of July, Pirates Cove Resort invites you to gather at the beach for a special fireworks display dedicated to the memory of our longtime friend, Mark Fausett. He loved Pirates Cove, its people, and the tradition of fireworks bursting above the lake each summer. This year, we'll send a salute skyward in his honor.
Join us as we celebrate his legacy with a spectacular fireworks show that we know he would have loved.
Though he may be gone from our docks, his spirit will forever shine across our waters.

We appreciate everyone’s patience as we work through the final steps needed to open the pool. At this time, we are still waiting on Aloha to complete connections once the necessary parts arrive. In addition, the backwash septic system area must dry sufficiently for our plumber to finish the remaining work, after which all required inspections must be completed and approved.

We understand the frustration surrounding the delay and sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. Please know that these steps are necessary to ensure everything is completed properly and safely before opening.

As soon as all work is finished and inspections are passed, we will immediately post an official opening update here. Depending on weather conditions, we anticipate the process may still take a couple more weeks.

Please secure your campsite or lodge room during office hours when payment (or deposit to hold) can be processed.

Once payment in full has been received, arrangements will be made to unlock electrical access to sites, and key box codes will be provided for lodge rooms.

Please join us TOMORROW, Sunday 5/24 at 7PM in our Lodge parking lot us as we welcome Col Summers and Almost Broke, a local five piece band. They'll be bringing along classic rock and blues tunes for our listening pleasure.

Grab a slice and a soda for just $5 for a late snack as we enjoy!

We’ll be parked right at the pavilion in the Lodge parking lot starting at 6 PM for supper. Stay dry under the shelter while you wait, or grab a seat at our tables and enjoy your meal with us!

As President of the OAPC (Pirates Cove Resort), I would like to let everyone know that unfortunately the pool will not be opening this Memorial Day weekend.
However, I do want to thank everyone for their hard work and efforts. Had it not been for this last batch of rainy weather, I truly believe we would have made it happen.
The pool is up and running — we are just waiting on Aloha to come put the final touches on everything, including the handicap lift, chlorinator, and getting our chemical levels balanced. Once that is complete, we can schedule our final inspection.
I encourage everyone to swing by and check it out. Again, I’m sorry you can’t get in it just yet, but we are so close it’s not even funny.
I hope you all have a great Memorial Day weekend and might consider joining us any way as we celebrate the progress. Several events are planned to do just that.
