It comes with both sadness and thankfulness to God that yesterday evening we lost Rufus to an illness that attacked and destroyed his red blood cells. Sadness because we will no longer be able to be with Rufus. Thankfulness because God had given us 9 years with what was without exception the most gentle, loving, giving dog our family has ever had. We as a family and the Spring River Stonehouse Inn will forever miss this big dog.

The 2023 Hardy Christmas Parade: "The Polar Express" is a GO! We can confirm that Santa Claus will be in Historic Downtown Hardy, Arkansas this Saturday, December 9 at 6:00 p.m. The North Pole has confirmed with the National Weather Service that the weather will be clear for a magical nighttime Christmas parade in Hardy! Be sure to go to Dr. Thompson Park on Main Street from 4:00 to 5:30 to get your Christmas photos before the parade! If you’re participating in the parade, be sure to be at Hardy City Hall by 5:00 p.m. for the lineup! We look forward to a big turnout and can’t wait to see you there! Thank you to FNBC Bank, First Community Bank, and Evolve Bank and Trust for sponsoring this year’s cash prizes! Please use caution and drive slow on your way to the parade and in Hardy! Btw...we bought the Stonehouse in 2021, so many of the reviews are before we took over.
