The Little Red Cabin in Harpers Ferry, Iowa is available as a full season (nearly 6 month) rental to be a 'home away from home'. The cabin is completely furnished and ideal for clean and tidy single/couple (1 full size bed) with occasional guests (sleeper sofa). Water, sewer, trash, partial electric is provided. Tenant is responsible for partial electric bill and lawn care around the cabin. This is an ideal way to try out Harpers Ferry before you buy a place of your own. Cabin is nearly 500 sf. Rent is $3600 for the approx. May 1- mid October, additional security deposit required. The cabin is non smoking and clean. (Our preference is no pets, however we will consider a smaller dog) Mediacom is run to cabin, tenant can connect. Some day I'll get around to posting pictures from the 1960's when my grandparents (Vern and Ann Holm) brought wood from the second story of their barn/garage in Denver, IA to construct the cabin. It was originally white, but quickly became red and has been kept that way since.
