To mark the 10th anniversary of the Artisan Guitar Show, show founders Denise and John Detrick commissioned something truly special: a one-of-a-kind acoustic guitar built by the legendary team at Froggy Bottom Guitars, using a breathtaking set of koa sourced from Hearne Hardwoods' private reserve. Master engraver Glenn Carson completed the piece with stunning detail work on the headstock and fretboard.

This guitar isn't just an instrument. It's ten years of shared stages, cherished friendships, and a deep love of lutherie made tangible.

Thank you to every builder, player, and music lover who has made this community what it is.

APPLICATIONS DUE 3/15: The Artisan Guitar Show is proud to offer a full scholarship for one young guitarist (ages 15–21) to attend the Berklee Summer Guitar Sessions this August!

Coverage includes tuition, housing, registration fees, and a travel allowance. The scholarship recipient will be honored onstage at the 2026 Artisan Guitar Show.

To apply, students will need to submit a performance video, a personal letter, and two letters of recommendation — including one from a music educator.
