An original 1904 cabin that has been updated to provide modern comforts while still maintaining its history. A place to escape the rushing calendars, a place that pushes you backwards in time and resets your priorities. The phones are put away, homemade meals cooked, pot luck dinners shared, and fresh air and sunshine far outweigh your to-do lists. The perfect place to make generational memories,

Introducing the new and improved Hurrikane Cove — we can finally say Ta-da!

What a journey it’s been! We’re beyond excited to finally share this special place with you. Preserving the rich history of the cabin, built in 1904, was incredibly important to us — to blend that legacy with fresh energy, light, and new memories has been a labor of love.

We have so many people to thank for helping us bring this vision to life. To our amazing family and friends: thank you for the pep talks, the advice, the extra hands, the kiddo-entertainment so we could focus, for keeping us fed and caffeinated through long days — and for cheering us on every step of the way. We truly couldn’t have done it without you.

We hope you love this little slice of heaven as much as we do.

Hi everyone!

We are so excited to share that we are the proud new owners of the HurriKane Cove Cabin! This cabin has been the center of generational memories for our family for as long as we can remember. We are thrilled to offer it as a Summer and Fall vacation rental starting Mid May through November - with plans to make it a full four season rental soon.

As the world gets busier and more modern each day, it feels harder and harder to find places that are "the way they used to be". We both grew up enjoying summers in Maine, and are now honored to offer that same classic Maine vacation to others for generations to come.

The cabin is located on Long Lake in Maine, one of Maines most treasured lakes. It's truly the place to be in the Summer, and a quiet nature retreat in the Fall and Winter.

We have big plans to give the original 1904 cabin a modern comfort update, while continuing to honor its historical charm. We look forward to sharing updates of the changes as we progress!

Had a great time at Fluvial Brew Pub in Harrison, ME with Karl, Marybeth, Scott, Deb. Our entertainment was performed by Doug Alford. Teacher at Gould Academy and Sunday River Patroller by day and guitar player/singer by night.
