We are happy to announce that the Mercer County Fiscal Court voted unanimously to reject the ordinance that would have made it possible for a data center to be built near Shaker Village. Thank you to the thousands of people that have reached out to us and to our local officials to show your support.

While this is an important and positive step, the work to protect Shaker Village is far from over. The ordinance will now go back to the Planning & Zoning Commission for revision, meaning a data center could still pose a risk to Shaker Village.

We will continue to provide updates about this issue as they develop.
