A visit to the State Capitol in recognition of JPSO YM/SgtMaj. Valerie Huete on her accomplishments. She has earned the title of Division Young Marine of the Year. Valerie will be entering her senior year of high school. Upon graduation she plans to attend college for nursing or education. It was truly an honor for her to be recognized on the house floor. In addition, Miss Huete was offered a full scholarship to the University of Tulane by the governor’s office. Thank you to all of our leaders for this recognition and a special thank you to Jason Asbill
