Arkansas is having a moment in the mountain biking world and honestly it has been a long time coming.
The Trails at Mena project is turning this corner of the Ouachitas into a destination that riders are coming from all over the country to experience. Ward Lake Trail System is open and the trails are in great shape right now. Come ride, stay at Chigger Hill, and see what everyone is talking about.

If your family has not made it to the Ouachita Mountains yet, this is your sign. Bring some craft supplies and you cam pretty much make your own family summer camp out here. Summer in Arkansas is the real deal. Cool shade, fresh air, and enough to do that nobody is sitting around complaining about being bored. Fishing, hiking, campfire nights, outdoor movies under the stars, and a playground to wear the little ones completely out.

The kind of evenings where you sit outside long after dinner because nobody wants to go in. Fireflies doing their thing, stars coming out over the trees, something on the grill that smells amazing. That is just a regular summer night at Chigger Hill.
