The Offshore boats stayed to the docks today while a NE gale wind is blowing us up. Inshore boats had epic fishing with Red Drum on the bite. Red Drum get hungry on windy days and they also make great fish tacos. Some boats also had good Bluefish catching.

The Offshore fleet headed out with the promise of sunny skies. They returned to the dock under black clouds threatening rain. The fishing was a bright spot. They had very good Blackfin Tuna catching and very good Dolphin catching. They also had a few Wahoo. Several billfish were released. A Salt Weapon released a Blue Marlin. Cuervos released a Sailfish and Release released a White Marlin. The Inshore boats had catches of Spanish Mackerel and Bluefish.

The last day of May saw one boat sneak out this morning. Wind and waves were still high on the blue water but Carolina Girl was close enough to home to not be in the washing machine and got onto the Dolphin. They also had a Sailfish on the line but were unable to bring it to the boat. Happy anglers decked both gaffer and bailer Dolphin to make for a successful day. Inshore boats had catches of Bluefish, Cobia, Red Drum and a Shark.

A few of the big boats ventured out this morning. They had Dolphin on the bite with both gaffers and bailers. They also had pretty good Blackfin Tuna catching and some boats had a few Wahoo. Release released a Blue Marlin and a Sailfish. Inshore boats had good catches of Bluefish and Sheepshead.

The Offshore fleet had good fishing today. They hooked up with good Dolphin fishing with both gaffers and bailers hitting the decks. They also had good Blackfin Tuna catching. Several Wahoo were caught. Sea Creature released a Blue Marlin. Cuervos released a Sailfish. Inshore boats had Red Drum and Bluefish.

What a day, a little ran and little wind and lots of Sunshine. And some good fishing.

Inshore had a good day catching Red Drum and Blue Fish.

Offshore had a good day catching Dolphin, a few Blackfin Tuna, and Scattered Wahoo.

One Offshore boat ventured out today with choppy conditions. Release had a good day with catching Dolphin and Blackfin Tuna. They almost had a Blue Marlin. Inshore boats had good catches of Bluefish and released several big Red Drum.

Another day of windy conditions kept the Offshore boats tied to the dock. The Inshore boats took advantage of the wind and had good Red Drum bites. They also had some Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish and a Trout or two.

We wish everyone a Happy Memorial Day as we remember and honor the heroes who sacrificed their lives in service to our country. Their courage and dedication will always be remembered.

The big boats stayed home today due to very choppy conditions offshore. They will try to get out tomorrow. The Inshore boat Island Time had catches of Red Drum and Bluefish.

It was a hot and steamy day out on the bluewater today. The Offshore fleet had scrappy meat fishing but the billfish were biting. They did have some Dolphin with both gaffers and bailers and some Blackfin Tuna. They also had a couple of Wahoo. Chaser released a Spearfish. Hatteras Fever II released a Blue Marlin. Release released a Sailfish and Sea Creature released a White Marlin. The Inshore boats had Bluefish and Sheepshead hitting the deck. Black Pearl headed out and got some Dolphin.
