It was a pretty day for the big boats today. Some SW wind to make it a little choppy. They had fair Wahoo fishing and some boats had a few Dolphin and one or two blackfin Tuna. Not as good as yesterday. Release released a Sailfish. Inshore boats had Bluefish on the bite along with some Red Drum.

What a great day of fishing.

Inshore Fleet had a good day catching Bluefish, and Red Drum. Mickey of KDH caught a 50in Red Drum on the Black Pearl.

Offshore Fleet had a good day catching Limits of Dolphin and Wahoo. Hatteras Blue released a Sailfish, Release released a Sailfish, and Sea Creature released a Sailfish. Adam Russell of Nc caught a 46 Pound Wahoo on the Calypso.

A handful of boats headed to the Gulf Stream this morning, some reported fair catches of Dolphin while some had some good catches. They also boated some Wahoo and Blackfin Tuna. Calypso released 2 Sailfish out of 3 bites.

Inshore anglers had a good time catching lots of Bluefish and some Big Red Drum were released

Tuesday, October 13, 2026
It was a calm and beautiful day. A couple of the offshore boats parted the water this morning. The fishing was slow with just a scattered Wahoo caught and some Dolphin. Inshore boats had catches of Bluefish today.

Monday, October 12, 2026
It was another day of no blue water fishing. The big boats didn't untie from the docks today. Inshore boats had Red Drum on the bite and some Bluefish. Red Drum like to bite on windy days and they make great fish tacos or Hatteras style Drum.

The Offshore boats stayed home today. Inshore boats had great Red Drum fishing with plenty of citation size fish released. They also had good Bluefish catching with big Bluefish on the hook.

Andy Bean of New Castle, VA released a 50" Red Drum on Black Pearl

Billy Cockran of Ridgly, MD released a 48" and a 49" Red Drum on Black Pearl

Friday, October 9, 2026
This morning the Offshore fleet left the dock under mostly cloudy skies. The clouds remained with the threat of rain not until tomorrow evening. They had Dolphin on the bite with some boats getting their limits. Some boats got onto the bottom fish and Snappers. They also had a few Wahoo and the Blackfin Tuna were scattered. Calypso released a Sailfish. Bite Me released 2 Sailfish. It was Snapper season and some of the Inshore boats had their catches of them. Some boats had Bluefish while others had some pretty Red Drum and King Mackerel.

Very nice day to be out on the water.

Offshore Fleet had a nice day catching Dolphin, Wahoo, and Blackfin Tuna.

Inshore Fleet had a nice day catching Blue Fish and Red Drum.

Off shore fleet stayed tied to the docks. Inshore Fleet had a great day catching lots of Big Red Drums 45in to 50in. 7 and 11 yr old Bo and Neva released 50 in Red Drum on the Black Pearl.

The Offshore boats stayed tied to the docks today. Inshore boats had excellent Red Drum fishing today.
