As the sun sets on our 2016 summer season a few thoughts.

We had an awesome summer!

Great time with family and friends at Andrew and Mandy's wedding.

Katie and Scott got engaged.

We had a very busy season with guests from as faraway as California to Texas and from Israel to the U.K.

The fish were biting all summer long!

We experienced Hermine and discovered what a house surrounded by water is like.

Captain Danny Ansell earned his Charter Captain's license.

We are truly blessed to live in this amazing place.

To all our guests, friends and family we thank you and look forward to seeing you next season.

Hatteras is a warm relaxing place for the fall and spring season so check our calendar on Air B&B and come for a visit.

Hello Facebook Friends!

We are now taking reservations for the 2016 summer season. There is still good availability but we have started to book weekends and weeks already.
Our Inn is a bit unique in that we offer many amenities. We have two kayaks, a canoe, a stand-up paddleboard and a 29 foot fishing boat. Our guests use the personal watercraft to harvest crabs from our traps and we provide all that is needed to steam and enjoy them or make delicious crab cakes. The kids really enjoy this! We also offer clamming trips where we take families to the clamming grounds and they harvest clams using their feet or our rakes. We then grill them or make homemade chowder.
Kerry and I love the outdoors and enjoy providing these opportunities for our guests. Activities are free of charge except when we use the big boat where there is minimal fuel charge.
We also have all needed beach equipment, chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, surf board, beach games, bicycles and an awesome scooter that we make available for our guests.
There are many places to just sit and enjoy the fantastic views as well. There are multiple decks, the dock and a comfortable lounge under the house complete with bimini ring toss, grill and outdoor shower.
As you can tell we are not your average rental!
All of our guests return and some come down multiple times per season.
We would love to have you and your family experience our hospitality this coming season if a beach vacation is in your plans.
