Last Wednesday night RN Jill Ruroede gave a presentation on how to control blood pressure to 41 residents. She stated that 70% of people over age 60 have high BP and 25% of admissions to Harford Country Hospitals are related to high BP! She talked about what lifestyle things we can control vs what we can't control! We can eat our way to better health by lowering sodium and the 5 food groups that help us!
