We have so much history in our town of Havre, Montana. These are definitely a must see!
Well, folks, it's getting near-the big Havre Has Class Reunion, formerly known as the Fossil Festival! Many former students are converging on Havre to reconnect, meet new people and get to know Havre again. We are glad you are here and hope you spend some time at our historic sites!
Havre Historic Tours and More will be conducting tours on SUNDAY, AUGUST 31 ONLY. Old Downtown Havre, Montana tour will be at 10:00 a.m.; the Victorian Homes tour of the Havre, Montana Residential Historic District will be at 2:00 p.m.; meet at 132 Third Street to start these two tours. The Sampler Tour of History Among the Headstones will be at 5:00 p.m., meet at the office building parking area at Calvary and Highland cemeteries for this tour. Fort Assinniboine- Havre will conduct tours Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. Call 406-399-5225 for more information.

No one throws a party better than Havre! We celebrated en masse and in style when the end of World War I was announced. Music, cheering, a burning of an effigy of the Kaiser, an impromptu parade-businesses closed, schools let out and everyone let loose in the streets of Havre!
