We have so much history in our town of Havre, Montana. These are definitely a must see!

Well, folks, it's getting near-the big Havre Has Class Reunion, formerly known as the Fossil Festival! Many former students are converging on Havre to reconnect, meet new people and get to know Havre again. We are glad you are here and hope you spend some time at our historic sites!

Havre Historic Tours and More will be conducting tours on SUNDAY, AUGUST 31 ONLY. Old Downtown Havre, Montana tour will be at 10:00 a.m.; the Victorian Homes tour of the Havre, Montana Residential Historic District will be at 2:00 p.m.; meet at 132 Third Street to start these two tours. The Sampler Tour of History Among the Headstones will be at 5:00 p.m., meet at the office building parking area at Calvary and Highland cemeteries for this tour. Cost for each tour is $15.00 per person per tour. For more information, call 406-399-5225.

Havre Beneath the Streets will be open all weekend from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. This is a great tour, folks, one I'm sure you will enjoy! Please call 406-265-8888 for more information. While you're there, check out the Frank DeRosa Railroad Museum!

Fort Assinniboine- Havre will conduct tours Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. Call 406-399-5225 for more information.

Friends of Wahkpa Chu'gn Buffalo Jump will have tours Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Call 406-265-4000 for more information.

And, finally, the H. Earl Clack Memorial Museum will be open Friday and Saturday from 1 to 5 p.m. Go to 2 Fifth Avenue in Old Downtown Havre, Montana and get your ride to the past, from dinosaurs to World War II. Call 406-265-4000 for more information.

This weekend is going to be a great blast from the past!

No one throws a party better than Havre! We celebrated en masse and in style when the end of World War I was announced. Music, cheering, a burning of an effigy of the Kaiser, an impromptu parade-businesses closed, schools let out and everyone let loose in the streets of Havre!

What a fun time at the Sugarbeet Festival in the cute small town of Chinook, MT. in Blaine County.
Every year, the Sugarbeet Festival is a big event that everyone looks forward to.
There are so many things to do and see, I'm just given you a glimpse of what there is. Be sure to mark it on your calendars for next year.
