One of those wonderful springtime afternoons. I finished up getting the dock ready for tomorrow’s guests and decided to stay a bit. Sitting on the dock, with my toes in the water, 4 feet below me a turtle swam by without any regard to me. The sun was at an angle where the rays reached the bottom and danced along the surface. A few perch and a slow riding pickerel came by to check out my toes. The whistle of the wind through the pines behind me and the screened dock beside me were saying, here is your calm, here is your peace. Nature is a magical, untamed gift. I was thinking I could sit here until dark. I looked up and there was the moon…out in the daytime…just for me.😉
