Julia’s Cottage Review
Julia's Cottage was the perfect place to stay to get away from it all and to rest and relax. As a host, Vicki was always available, always communicating and helping with whatever was needed, while at the same time helping with suggestions of how to make the stay better! The check in and out process was easy, the stay was perfect, the area was very clean! Looking forward to staying here again in the near future!

CAUGHT UP IN THE AIR - January 14, 2025

“For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command,…and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 NIV).

The Greek word used to describe this event translates into the Latin word rapere, from which comes the English word rapture. It describes a moment in which living believers will be instantly changed into their resurrection bodies and lifted into heaven to meet Jesus. The bodies of dead believers will be resurrected and reunited with their spirits. Both groups will be “caught up” to meet Christ in the air and will be taken into Paradise.

A generation of Christians will skip the cemetery. Just one moment here, and the next moment there.

This was the most wonderful spur of the moment trip to a peaceful, magical place! We slept in the schoolhouse (sleeps 2) and next door there’s a teepee that sleeps 2. There’s also a small cottage in the same area. The bathrooms are clean and cute and the outdoor shower is not bad at all!!! It’s a glamping dream! Three separate fire pit areas, an outdoor kitchen/serving area, games, walking trails. The hosts were so awesome!! Had no idea it was here and I lived right down the road back in 2005-2006! I’m sharing with all my friends and family. The grandkids came and visited us and they loved the tetherball! Us old folks had to teach them the tricks! 😉 There’s another area with other camping experiences as well.
