Reminder that tonight is the LAST day for overnight stays. Our regular campground season ends tomorrow at 9 p.m. In addition, first half lot rent for 2027 and final tabs are all due by that time.

You are still welcome to come during daylight hours to finish winterization/close-up through Oct 7th.

The Lost & Found has been moved outside for today (until it starts raining). I will keep it conspicuous this weekend & next. If you see something and know who the owner is, let us know! Whatever is unclaimed by the 30th will either be donated or tossed.

Hey everyone! It is the second-to-last weekend, so please make sure your final bills are taken care of before we close for the year. There are many people with outstanding tabs yet. Please reach out if you are unsure whether you have an outstanding balance or not.

The lodge is open today until 7, Saturday from 10-1 and 2-5, and Sunday from 10-1. We do still have some ice cream left, and a decent amount of pizza and sandwiches!

Hours will be a little bit wonky today, as we are short staffed and already had plans for a family birthday party. Our apologies. If the sign is lit up, we are open. If you have questions or need something quick while we are closed, please feel free to call or text.

Hi, and welcome to our first week of "late season"!

Lodge hours have shifted down. We are now open 5-7 p.m. on Friday, 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. - 5 p.m. on Saturday, and 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. on Sunday. These hours will be in effect for the rest of season, but are still subject to possible changes, if needed. We will no longer have weekly specials or baked goods (unless time allows for a quick batch of cookies, but "real" life can be quite demanding!).

We have our last round of activities this weekend:
On Saturday, we have highway clean-up at 3 p.m. If you're able to help us out and keep the area leading to the campground clean, we'd sure appreciate it!
We then have our farewell feed & potluck at 6 p.m. in the picnic shelter. We will be serving pulled pork sandwiches and chips, or pulled pork nachos (your choice)! Feel free to bring items to contribute: veggies, fruits, desserts, etc. are welcomed.
Lastly, we will hold our re-scheduled bonfire right around dusk. Please feel free to join in any or all of these activities!

Well, you probably guessed it...

We have to postpone tonight's bonfire 😔 (Because why wouldn't it finally rain today?)
We plan to reschedule to next Saturday the 12th, following the pulled pork feed. Hope you are able to join us then!

I am completely stocked up on baked goods and farm fresh eggs--we are ready for you! This week we have pumpkin snickerdoodle cookies, lemon poppyseed scones, pecan pie mini-muffins, spinach & artichoke and french onion soup sourdough loaves, and will have coffee cinnamon rolls in the morning! We have 2 pizzas of the week available: fried dill pickle is back, and we also have a Cuban pizza!

For activities over this Labor Day Weekend, we have our final golf cart drive-in movie of the year at 8:30 p.m. tonight. Don't forget concessions! Saturday is crafts for all ages at 4 p.m. in the picnic shelter, with our last barn dance of the year in the Event Center from 8-11 p.m. Sunday is the corn feed, with shucking taking place at 9:30 a.m. outside of the lodge, and the corn feed & soup potluck at 1 p.m. The community bonfire will be held at 9 p.m.

We hope to see a lot of you here this weekend, as we celebrate with one last big 2026 blow-out! Don't forget our final event pulled pork feed next Saturday.

Apologies for the limited baked goods in the lodge this weekend compared to recent weeks; with all the back-to-school events, appointments, early morning sports practices and meets, trying to get everything situated for school, and getting in some quality family time while we could, baking beyond the basics just wasn't in the cards! HOWEVER, I have a large menu planned for Labor Day Weekend, including scones, muffins, and some very exciting flavors of sourdough and rolls! Can't wait to share with you all!

After next weekend, when things are gone, they're gone. We are now down to our last new container of ice cream. This is one of the downfalls of this being a seasonal operation; we don't want a huge amount of leftovers when everyone leaves in a month! We hope you understand. We will try to keep the basic pizzas and sandwiches rolling until the bitter end.

Tonight is Moonlight Kayaking! Meet us at the campground boat launch at 8:30 p.m. to join in on the fun.

Lodge specials this week are Brookies (a cross between brownies and chocolate chip cookies) and Fried Dill Pickle Pizza!

So much to offer today! We are already out of pepperoni-mozz sourdough and low on Monster Cookies, but plenty left of everything else!

Cukes are $2 for a big grocery bag full. Stay tuned for squash in the near future!
