Summer Camp Memories: Friday Edition!

The last day is always bittersweet! We're excited for our campers, who are no better equipped, to go back to their daily lives. But we also miss them, and by the tears of many of our departing campers, the feeling is mutual.

We have one last chance to encourage their faith before they leave. Campers enjoy some of their own lasts until next time: a meal in the dining hall, worshipping together, hugs with friends, and crazy camp skits.

For our Day Camp, they get to enjoy a full day of camp, just like they have all week!

Summer Camp Memories: Thursday Edition

Thursday is a big day for Youth Camps. They go white-water rafting and have their evening talent show!

For Boys and Girls Camps, we have our last big worship service and a closing ceremony to give campers who have been here for multiple years an award of recognition. In the evening, our campers each spend time talking with one of our cabin counselors about their faith.

Summer Camp Memories: Wednesday Edition!

The midpoint of the week. Campers are getting more adventurous and deeper into the spiritual aspects of camp. Their sense of community and belonging to Truett is growing stronger as well.

They will enjoy a full day of outdoor recreation, great food, and studying God's Word.

Summer Camp Memories: Tuesday Edition!

The bonding during their campout shows fruit as early as Tuesday, our first full day of camp. The campers enjoy activities together that bring them closer together. We also lay the groundwork for them to draw closer to God. They have their first worship sessions and meet their speaker for the week.

Our Youth Camps enjoy activities and worship too, but use their morning to do mission projects in our community.

We're already missing our campers from this summer! This week, we're going to re-enact summer camp through pictures!

Monday is check-in day for most of our camps. For our Boys Camp and Girls Camp, ages 10 and up camp out, with the teens doing so off-site on an island! It's a great chance for campers to forge a strong bond.
