Busy season is upon us!!!! Redhead Retreats is ready for our rocking 2026 rental season! Flowers are out, hummingbirds have returned, and the property updates are complete!!! 🌲🦋☀️🌿

Hello Riders!!!

Great news! The Sawyer County Forestry in conjunction with the SCSAA has decided to open the county forest trails early!!! Read on for trails opening (National and state forest not included in early opening).

This Friday at 12pm the following trails in the county forest areas (dark green on map) will be open. These trails include.
Trails 3, 26, 27 and 31 in the Edgewater and Sissabagama area.
Trail 11 (9 Mile Loop) in Couderay area.
Trails 8, 15, 31 and 77 in the Seeley Hills and Nelson Lake area.

The Tuscobia is also open for riding. Also open are trails not in any colored forest areas on map, town roads that are mapped and signed, and county highways outside the LCO, inside the LCO (pink on map) county roads mapped and signed are open. Remember county highways are ones that are letters i.e. A, B, CC, etc.

Please note that trails located within the U.S. Forest Service - Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest (light green) and the Flambeau River State Forest (orange) are NOT included in this opening. Chequamegon opens May 1st and the Flambeau May 15th. Any questions regarding those areas please contact Chequamegon at 715-634-4821 and the Flambeau at 715-332-4846.

HELLO STRANGERS!!! It’s been a while since our last post but we have awesome news-

Five ✋🏻, yes only 5 summer weekends of 2026 left to make memories. Our Modern Mountain Monoslope’s Front porch is a great place for family chats, sticky ice cream smiles, and golden evenings outside—remember this is truly what summer is about 🍦☀️🩷

So don’t wait!!! Enjoy a weekend at our place! Hit the close by lakes, jump right on the trails, even be tourist in downtown Hayward!!! 🚤🍬🛻

We are so excited for our second winter & the white powder that keeps falling ❄️❄️❄️

❄️ The fresh natural snow just keeps coming! About 4 inches fell overnight in Cable's north end, with strong winds creating some great powder piles and uncovering other areas. It's shaping up perfectly for both groomed trails and some exciting ungroomed adventure! ⛷️

At Mount Telemark Village, snowmaking is in full swing thanks to the cold temps, and we’re on track to open even more trails by the weekend. 🎿 We’ve also completed the connection from our competition loops to Birkie Blvd and the Base Camp building, so now just a few steps from the parking lot and you're on skiable snow!

The leaves may have dropped, but our backyard continues to be an enticing space to enjoy these picturesque late fall weekends with companions!!!! Our booking calendar has openings and special promotions!!! Capitalize on the 'Hayward Off Season' and relish a slower tempo, beautiful trails, fine dining, and relaxation at our retreat!!!!
