Don’t want this week’s forecast get you down, there’s still room for camping. Join us for our chili cookoff and campground potluck afterwards!! Have your chili samples up at the store by 4:30 to be judged and head on over to the shelter to enjoy a potluck with everyone else. Don’t worry you do not have to enter chili to enjoy the potluck. Just bring yourselves and come and enjoy good company and food :)

Thank you to everyone, who stuck it out with us this weekend even through the rain. It turned out to be an awesome Halloween night!! Great costume, awesome trick-or-treating, and fantastic screams coming from the haunted shed along with a couple accidental happenings after the fact from some of our seasonals that do not want to be named 🤣😂. Let’s just say it may have been a bit scarier for them than they intended!!!

A huge thank you goes out to everybody who took part and making this weekend happen! We cannot do it without you!

Site 6 JUST opened up for THIS WEEKEND!!! Call ASAP!! 🎃 🦇 👻

Here is the schedule of events:

10am- Kids Halloween crafts with Jenny at the shelter

4pm- Costume contest by the pool
( categories: 0-3, 4-6, 7-10, 11-13, 14-17,
Adult, Group, PETS) medals for the top 3
In each category!

4:30/5 (or when the contest ends)- Trick or Treating!!! Don’t forget we have 2 sides of the campground 🤡

And for the main attraction…… The Haunted SHED!!!!

7pm the door will open for our first patrons of the night… LIGHTS 💡 ON for the youngsters! Those who wish to go in with the lights on, will NOT be allowed in with, we have had several who have ruined it for the rest by spilling our secrets.

Once dark 🌖 hits (around 8pm) the spooky 👻 fun begins! Keep your eyes 👀 peeled because you never know what is hiding behind the corner 🫣!

While the screams 🙀 are happening in the shed our spies 🕵️‍♂️ 🕵️‍♀️ will be out judging campsites 🏕️ for the best decorated! If you have lights 💡 or sounds 🎶 that go with your display 💀 make sure they are still on in the dark so they get judged 🏆 properly!

Rare chance to get in on Halloween!!! 3 full-hook up spots just opened up!!! Next weekend September 18-19! Saturday is costume judging for all ages, and groups, trick or treating, site judging and haunted shed!!

Bicycle Safety Notice:

Salsa salsa salsa!!! Who is ready for this weekends salsa competition??? Have your homemade salsa up to the office by 3pm on Saturday for Judging! For this competition it does NOT have to be made onsite 🙂

We got a call from the North Pole that Santa Claus will be here at 1 PM on Saturday!!! As we all know, it’s too hot for the reindeer, but he will be coming in style on the Gator!!

We still have spots available if you want to join us for Christmas in July! Bring your decorations and go all out, we have metals for our first ,second and third place site decoration contest!

Gibby’s food truck will also be doing us on Saturday! Along with our lighted night hay ride! Also, Christmas kids crafts, of course!
