Appellation Healdsburg has been named the No. 1 resort in Northern California, and No. 24 resort in the World, in the 2026 Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards.

The Greek by returns for its final two Mondays, October 5 and 12, with a menu Chef Dino Moniodis has rewritten from the mezze through dessert. New dishes, new flavors, and Greek all the way.

Here's what's on the table:

Mezze, served family-style
Crispy phyllo-wrapped feta with blistered cherry tomatoes, honey, toasted sesame and fried sage
Horiatiki with tomatoes, cucumber, sweet peppers, red onion, Kalamata olives, capers, oregano and red-w**e vinaigrette
Kataifi-wrapped prawns over creamy lemon orzo with kefalotyri

Main
Wood-fired pork chop with lentils, roasted eggplant, charred apple, mustard greens and lemon beurre blanc

Dessert
Portokalopita, a traditional Greek orange and phyllo cake, with vanilla bean ice cream, toasted pistachio and orange-zest flaky sea salt

Our suites gives you room to spread out. Experience Sonoma living with a private bedroom, a living room that people actually gather in, and a kitchen if you decide to cook something.

Out on the terrace - there’s a table for six, which is where most evenings seem to end up.

The bathroom has a soaking tub, a walk-in shower and two sinks, so nobody waits on anybody. Beds made with , bath products from right here in California, ready for the morning.

There’s a backgammon set somewhere in the room. Someone always finds it.

One year ago, we opened our doors in Healdsburg and hoped we'd be welcomed into the Sonoma County community and the global resort community with open arms.

The year since has been reflected by long dinners under olive trees, mornings in the garden, recognition beyond belief, and a kindness from this community we won't forget. Sonoma County gave us the place. The growers, w**emakers and makers around us gave us the food. But it was the people, the ones who work here and the ones who kept coming back, who turned a new building into somewhere worth returning to.

Thank you, Healdsburg, for making room for us. And thank you to every new and returning face who has walked through our doors this year.

The Greek, is a four-Monday pop-up in the Appellation Kitchen dining room. Three courses of contemporary Greek cooking that open with mezze for the table, with dry Greek whites poured alongside.

The news is out! Appellation Healdsburg has been named the No. 1 Resort in the Continental U.S. and the No. 1 Resort in California in the 2026 Travel + Leisure World's Best Awards.

We opened this hotel less than a year ago with one belief that hospitality is at its best when it is rooted in the place it belongs to. To be recognized this early, by the travelers of Travel + Leisure whose opinions shape our industry, is a moment we will not soon forget.

To our guests, thank you for choosing us and for telling the world what you found. To our team, thank you for showing up every day with the care this recognition reflects. To the growers, makers, and neighbors of Healdsburg, this belongs to you too.

Project Zin heads to its new home at Appellation Healdsburg on Saturday, August 22 for an unforgettable evening of food, w**e, and community.

Together with Chef Charlie Palmer, Clay and Carrie Mauritson started the event after their son Brady’s Down syndrome diagnosis, and the cause has held ever since: 21 of Sonoma County’s most sought-after Zinfandel producers, one for every chromosome of Trisomy 21, pouring alongside a roster of California chefs.

Proceeds from Project Zin benefit Down Syndrome Connection of the Bay Area.
