Appellation Healdsburg

Appellation Healdsburg Where the edge of town meets the vineyards, we are planting something extraordinary.

Healdsburg is more than a stay—it’s an immersion into the flavors, textures, and spirit of Sonoma County. Designed by acclaimed architect John Hill, the resort’s two distinct villages are intentionally placed to invite exploration, with winding paths leading past mature native trees, abundant culinary gardens, and open-air gathering spaces. Whether unwinding by one of two swimming pools, indulging

in restorative treatments at the spa, or savoring seasonal flavors at our Charlie Palmer-led restaurants and bars, every moment is crafted with a sense of place.

Project Zin heads to its new home at Appellation Healdsburg on Saturday, August 22 for an unforgettable evening of food, wine, and community.

Together with Chef Charlie Palmer, Clay and Carrie Mauritson started the event after their son Brady’s Down syndrome diagnosis, and the cause has held ever since: 21 of Sonoma County’s most sought-after Zinfandel producers, one for every chromosome of Trisomy 21, pouring alongside a roster of California chefs.

Proceeds from Project Zin benefit Down Syndrome Connection of the Bay Area.

Tickets and weekend packages go on sale June 10 at 11am PT at projectzin.org. Link in bio.

The oysters here come from Hog Island Oyster Company, founded in 1983 on a five-acre lease in Tomales Bay.

Two marine biologists, 250 acres across Tomales and Humboldt, all five Northern Hemisphere varieties, and a farm that runs largely on solar and filters the bay it works in.

Every Monday at Appellation Healdsburg, 4 to close. $3 per oyster, six-minimum.

The Foss Pool is the family pool at Appellation Healdsburg.

Made for the cannonball, the long float, the multi-generational afternoon where the grandparents are reading and the kids haven’t gotten out of the water in two hours. Sonoma summer, the way it’s supposed to feel.

Did you know the Terroir Spa is open to everyone, not just hotel guests?

Book a massage or a facial, now with new add-on enhancements, including a conditioning treatment and a red light mask. Take an hour in the steam room. Spend the afternoon by the adults-only pool.

A locals’ escape: you don’t have to stay overnight to unwind in wine country. You always can, of course. But sometimes an afternoon is all it takes.

Open Thursday through Monday. Explore treatments at our link in bio.

Let us introduce you to something new.

Appellation Kitchen is the heart of the day at Appellation Healdsburg. Breakfast daily from 7am. The coffee counter open through mid-morning. Brunch on Saturdays and Sundays, lunch Monday through Friday, and supper on Monday and Tuesday evenings.

The room shifts with the hour, but the ingredients come from the same gardens, the same growers, the same Sonoma County tables we keep coming back to. It’s where the day at Appellation begins, settles, and ends. A gathering place, plain and good.

Reservations and full hours at the link in bio.

We made it into print. ✨

Appellation Healdsburg is featured in Spring 2026 The Slow Travel Issue...and honestly, there’s no better fit. Slow travel is kind of our whole thing: 8.5 acres of gardens and native trees, a kitchen built around open fire and nearby small farms, pastry chef Nassim Bounoua’s bread and butter cart rolling through the dining room, and a Crafted at Appellation workshop waiting for you after check-in.

The article puts it simply: Head to Healdsburg. We couldn’t agree more.

We’re on the ballot for Condé Nast Traveler’s Readers’ Choice Awards. ❤️

Not bad for a resort that opened less than a year ago, and even better to be included alongside resorts we genuinely admire! If you’ve experienced what we’re building here, culinary-first hospitality rooted in wine country, we’d love your vote.

Voting closes June 30th! Cast yours at the link in our bio.

Art doesn’t always follow a straight line.

We’re proud to welcome Aaron Webb as Appellation Healdsburg’s Artist-in-Residence for the month of May. A Navy veteran and abstract artist, Aaron found his way back to painting through his overseas service, and what began as something personal has evolved into work that feels universal. His textural abstracts carry the depth of a life lived between worlds.

Join him for a complimentary Office Hours & Demo on Sunday, May 24 from 11 AM–1 PM in the Maker Room & Maker Patio. His work is also represented locally at Rena Charles Gallery in downtown Healdsburg.
