Smith Memorial Park is located in the beautiful rolling hills of Upstate NY, nestled on the edge of Seneca Lake. Come visit us!

We offer both seasonal and transient camping, free swimming at our beach and a boat launch for just $5.

We have firewood for sale: $25/truck load! 🔥 🪵

Do you live nearby and want to purchase local firewood? Get it from Smith Park! 🌳 These trees have been cut down during routine maintenance due to age, etc.

*NOTE: In accordance with DEC Law 6NYCRR Section 192.5 firewood restrictions: This wood is from an untreated wood source at Smith Memorial Park, Town of Hector, Schuyler County, New York, and cannot be moved further than 50 miles to stop the spread of invasive species.

Come down to the park today (12-8pm) for the LAST DAY of swim beach life guards on duty. 🏊‍♀️ It’s been an amazing summer - we’ll see you next June for more swimming on Seneca Lake. ♥️

We loved seeing all the kids and families this summer for “Library at the Lake,” a partnership between the Elizabeth B. Pert Memorial Library and Smith Memorial Park! 📚 Elizabeth B Pert Library

Each week the kiddos read stories, did nature-inspired crafts and got to play in the beautiful outdoors!

If you see the Smith Park manager Mallory around, say hi! She works hard to make this community space run smoothly for all our visitors. 😎 You can usually find her in the park office or running around helping campers get settled in.

Want to hang out on the water… but not jump in? Now you can paddle! 🛶  FOR RENT: single kayaks, tandem kayaks and canoes. Make sure to pop by the office to pay and grab a life jacket!
