Despite the rain, we had a absolutely wonderful weekend spending time with our incredible camping family! Rain or shine, you all always bring the best energy, and we love making these memories with you.
As we close out this Memorial Day weekend, we want to take a moment to honor those who have served or are currently serving, and say a deeply sincere thank you. Your sacrifice, and the sacrifice of your families, does not go unnoticed or unappreciated. 🇺🇸❤️

Happy New Camping Season, Lazy-A Family!

We’re excited to welcome everyone back and get another great year started with our camping family. There’s nothing better than seeing familiar faces and making new memories around the campground.

With that said, we do have some unfortunate news to share.

Our longtime dumping service provider, Dunhams Septic Service, has made the well-deserved decision to retire. We can’t thank them enough for years of fair pricing and outstanding service—they truly took care of us.

As we searched for a replacement, we were hit with a reality we didn’t expect… costs have increased by nearly 300%.

This left us with a very tough choice: close down, do away with the dump option or make some necessary adjustments to keep going.

And truthfully—we’re just not ready to close the gates on our camping family ❤️

Effective immediately, our updated rates are:
• W/E Sites: $60 per night
• Primitive Sites: $40 per night
• Holidays: +$5 per night (3-night minimum stay)

We will also be adjusting our first responder discount to 5%, along with updates to our weekly rates.

Please note:
All existing reservations will be honored at the original rates (excluding holiday adjustments).

We know this isn’t the news anyone wants to hear, and we sincerely apologize. This decision wasn’t made lightly—it’s simply what we need to do to keep Lazy-A going strong for another season.

Thank you for sticking with us, supporting us, and being the reason we’re still here. We’re looking forward to a great year with all of you.

Fellow campers, as we get closer to warmer weather and our opening of April 17 (weather pending) we would like to see the interests in seasonal campers. So here are our thoughts. Reach out or respond here if you’re interested and we can go from there.

1) We will be offering 5 sites (maybe more depending on response) for seasonal spots. We have not selected which sites yet but your preference will be considered.
2) price is 650$ month - inlcudes w/e and 1 on site pump out weekly
3) that gets you up to 12 days of actual camping. You can stay hooked up with camper on site. We do ask that you water is turned off when not there for obvious reasons and heat/ ac set to a reasonable temperature
4) no refunds will be given within the same month
5) we will offer a cash discount for full term payment
6) dates will be from May 1 - Sept 30. We will consider october rental on a case by case scenario
7) Holiday rate included
* a discounted daily rate if needing/ wanting to stay more than 12 days in a one month period will be given - rate TBD
9) you will be responsible for w**d eating or close grass cutting to personal items. I will maintain the bulk of your site
10) wood and ice will be normal charge. We encourage having your own wood brought in for your site
11) I will make every effort to look over your camper but your campers safety is your priority
12) a cc and tax fee will be charged if paying by card. This is a cash/ check price which is due on the first of each month.

Well, that’s a wrap to the 2025 camping season!
