Come and visit - respect the nature!
Anna Ruby Falls is one of North Georgia’s most iconic waterfalls and a protected natural area within the Chattahoochee–Oconee National Forest.
Recently, we’ve seen instances of vandalism in and around the site. These actions damage fragile infrastructure, impact the natural environment, and take time and resources away from preserving this special place for everyone.
Please remember:
• Vandalism on U.S. Forest Service property is illegal under federal law
• Damaging, defacing, or marking natural or built features may result in fines, restitution for damages, and/or legal penalties
• These actions can also result in loss of access privileges in certain cases
Anna Ruby Falls is a visually monitored site and regularly staffed area, and we work to help protect both visitors and the landscape.
We ask all visitors to help care for this place:
• Leave no trace
• Respect all signs, structures, and natural features
• Report vandalism or suspicious activity to staff or law enforcement if safe to do so
This is a shared natural treasure. Its protection depends on every visitor who comes here.
Let’s keep Anna Ruby Falls clean, respected, and preserved for the next person.
