It has been said photography is all about lighting.
I just finished barefooting because things are going to change at the lake soon by the storm. The colors of the lake and the clouds are created by the sun shining on the lake and the shadow created by clouds in the distance. As for the blue-green lake that because we are at the deep end of the lake and it is early in the water ski season. The clay that lines the lake hasn’t been stirred up by the boats yet.

The towboat pulling the event will be a Big Block Sanger Barefooter

What a contrast this morning.
The season changes are happening. I love the vibrant colors in the trees this morning. Yes, I had to walk down the lake to capture this photo with the moon.
As for the picture from the top of Grand Targhee Resort, I am always excited for the next season. It is hard to believe that we will be snow skiing in about a month. OK it will be a couple of months before we will skiing these exposures.

After U.S. Barefoot Water Ski Nationals here in Helena we had a couple of cool days in the 60's and now we are approaching 90 degrees again. I went around to the other lake to take this photo. We can barely see the mountains today. It getting smokey again from the forest fires out west.
