SWISS ROOTS We have an Inn for Lodging, a Store with local merchandise, and US Post Office The Store is open 9:00-5:00. We are closed on Sundays

Monday through Wednesday and 9:00-6:00 Thursday through Saturday .The Diner is open 9:00AM - 5:00PM Thursday-Saturday.

We are saddened that because of unfortunate circumstances the HinterZimmer Diner at Swiss Roots is now closed. Thank you for being a part of our venture for more than a year. Come visit us at the store and inn.Summertime in Helvetia is WONDERFUL!!

The HinterZimmer Diner will close today at 4:00. The store will still be open until 6:00 as usual.

Today is FASNACHT!!! It will be a wonderful day to come to our beautiful little town and be part of our Swiss traditional celebration!! The weather forecast is sunny and 48 degrees!!! WOW.. we all need that!! There will be lots of food, music, vendors, and AMAZINGLY created masks to keep that Old Man Winter scared away!! If you have never experienced Fasnacht… this is your perfect day to do so!! Stop in Swiss Roots and see many masks on display from previous Fasnacht years. We have lots of Swiss Roots apparel and many locally made items. Because of space and patron flow in our building, will only be doing takeout chili, grilled cheese sandwiches, and biscuits and gravy from The HinterZimmer Diner today.
