One week from today, our community hosts the annual Helvetia Community Fair. Chocked full of Swiss tradition, agriculture, and dash of Appalachia, the Helvetia Community Fair is beloved and over 100 years old.

We hope you come to celebrate and feel welcome to swing by for a meal at The Hütte. We'll be serving "A Taste of The Hütte" Sampler Plate. Given the number of visitors, no reservations are required. See you next weekend!

We jamming on some delicious sampler plates today. It's a big meal that we call a "Taste of the Hütte" and include dessert and select drinks. The roads are open from Buckhannon, power is on, and the birds are singing. First come first serve since our phone lines have been down. See you soon.

The Helvetia Farm Women’s Club are nuturers and caring folks up here in Helvetia that are trying to help our beloved neighbors in Upshur/Lewis County. If you can make a donation of supplies, they are lending a hand. We love these ladies.

Our hearts are with everyone affected by the recent Lewis/Upshur County flooding. Many families have experienced devastating loss, and now is the time for our community to come together and help however we can.

If you’re able, please consider donating non-perishable food, bottled water, cleaning supplies, toiletries, diapers, pet food, or other essential items. Every donation, no matter the size, can make a meaningful difference.

Please drop off all donations at Swiss Roots, Monday–Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. We will be taking in a truckload next Friday the 31st of July.

Thank you for showing the kindness and generosity that make our community so special. Together, we can help our neighbors begin to rebuild. ❤️

🇺🇸 The Hütte will be open on the 4th of July from 12:00–6:00PM

We'll be serving The Hütte Sampler.

The Hütte is reopening for the 2026 season.

After a long and much-needed winter pause that is deeply appreciated, we’re grateful to be opening Thursdays–Saturdays, 12pm–6pm, beginning next Thursday, May 14.

We’ll be sharing our menu and any updates over the coming week, so stay tuned.
