We had a ton of fun being a stop on the 2024 Hemingford Holiday Home Tour! We couldn't have asked for better weather on a December night in Nebraska. Thank you to everyone who purchased tickets for the tour, and a big thank you to Johnna Wood for organizing such a fun event for our community. I personally owe a HUGE thank you to my mother-in-law D'Ann Krause for being the creative talent behind turning the Bunkhouse into a Christmas wonderland! Thank you to Roger and Beth for taking care of the Christmas lights 🎄 It was a great way to show case our little spot for the locals. Lastly, thank you to Macee Michele Photography for taking a pause from studying for finals to capture the Christmas magic in these beautiful pictures.

I want to brag on VALOR General Store. Late Saturday afternoon, I realized the hot water heater at The Bunkhouse was about to go out. With guests checking in today we had to get it replaced quickly. I thought for sure I was going to have to make a trip to Scottsbluff that night so it could be taken care of yesterday. I called Lacy to see if she had one on hand by chance. She had exactly what I needed and met us after hours to make sure to get us taken care of! I appreciate her and Johnny pouring into our community. They make sure to not just keep the little things on hand, but the big things as well. Thank you for taking care of us. And thank you to my dad for getting it put in on your day off.
