The ponds are getting more clear. About a dozen trout caught over the weekend. June will be warming up and trout will stop biting once the water temp reaches 70 degrees. My next batch of trout is scheduled for mid September when it cools down.

The recent heavy rains have muddied the ponds and the fish won’t bite. We will be closed this weekend.

With my remaining stock being low, the best bait is yellow or orange “power bait” sold in local outdoor supply stores. If trout don’t work out, you can try our new catch/release pond with catfish and bass. $20 for 2 hours and you must throw them back.

The extreme draught is continuing so my water supply is more than 50% down. The pond water is heating up and the air temp will be near 90 for the next week. I have elected not to risk another batch of trout until mid September. There should be about 150 lbs left so I would suggest coming before noon to have a better chance of catching them.
