Fall is hinting its arrival with just a hint of cool this morning - fresh and refreshing! The hummers are here in force - draining our feeders daily! Pleasantly warm and sunny days, with beautiful star filled skies at night. Amazing!

A rare white day on the San Pedro River, with hungry feathered friends swarming our well-stocked feeders. Gila Woodpecker, Pyrrhuloxia, Northern Flicker, Abert's/Canyon/Green-tailed Towhees, White-crowned Sparrow, Northern Cardinal (C.c. superbus), Verdin, House Finch, Red-winged Blackbird, and lots more!

We had a crepuscular visitor hanging out on the picnic table the other night. We enjoy listening to our resident Great Horned Owls hooting back and forth to one another.
